Some Windows Insiders are receiving a c1900101 error when attempting to upgrade to the Windows 10 Insider builds 18936 and 18941. This will cause Windows to rollow back to the previous version of Windows that they were attempting to upgrade.
Microsoft Announces Windows 10 20H1 Build 18936
Developer Rafael Rivera, known for his findings and work around Windows 10, such as the mach2 tool, posted on Twitter about his latest findings in build 18936, which was released to Insiders in the Fast ring earlier this week. According to the tweet, the latest build already includes some work towards removing the old version of the browser from Windows 10:
Microsoft today released a new Windows 10 preview with Korean IME improvements. The update bumps Windows 10 from build 18936 (made available to testers on July 10) to build 18941. These builds are from the 20H1 branch, which represents the Windows 10 update that will arrive in the first half of next year.
For those in the fast ring on Windows 10 Insiders program, build 18936 has just been released. The Your Phone app has been made more available to other Surface devices. A new Quick Event Create from the taskbar (Open calendar, add an event or reminder straight from the flyout!). And, finally, a way to go passwordless with Windows Hello, Fingerprint, or PIN with a Microsoft account. Several fixes and a few known issues.
Your sample app ( -Samples/tree/master/Elevated%20Extension%20UWP) is works fine in Windows RS5 and 19H1 but it is NOT working in 20H1 preview builds (18941 and 18936). When I look into event viewer I see some .NET exception.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Exception Info: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo) at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start() at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo) at Elevated_Extension.Program.Main(System.String[])++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
